To the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of NSW.

The petition of concerned residents, business owners and general public of the state electorate of South Coast, brings to the attention of the House the proposed installation of traffic lights at the intersection of Princes Highway and South Street, Ulladulla.

While it is acknowledged that the intersection is dangerous for pedestrians to cross, it is urged that Transport for NSW investigate further options to make the intersection safe before traffic lights are committed to the site.

The undersigned petitioners therefore ask the Legislative Assembly to call on the Government to place a hold on the proposed traffic lights and conduct an updated investigation on a solution for pedestrian safety and ease of traffic flow through the main thoroughfare of Ulladulla.
