SIGN UP FOR UPDATES ON DREDGING AT LAKE CONJOLA

Over the past two years, I have worked with the Minns Labor Government to secure real action for the people of Lake Conjola and surrounding communities, and that work continues.

This isn’t about political point-scoring; it’s about protecting a community that has lived under the threat of flooding for more than a decade. 

I’ve been actively engaging with the NSW Government, relevant Ministers, and Shoalhaven City Council, but now that relationship is in jeopardy.

The former Liberal Member for Bega and two-time federal Liberal candidate for Gilmore, now Shoalhaven City Council CEO, Andrew Constance is playing politics with this serious community issue. 

Let's not forget that Mr Constance was an elected State Liberal Member of Parliament and a former Minister who did nothing to address the flooding at Lake Conjola. 

Unlike the former Liberal Government, when I and the Minns Labor Government make a commitment, we deliver on it.

I will not play politics with this issue, as a local I understand the problems that the community is facing in Lake Conjola and I will keep working hard with all levels of Government to secure lasting solutions.
