SIGN THE PETITION: SAVE BIG SPOTTY

Help Save Big Spotty!

I am asking you to help me protect the future of Big Spotty, the world's tallest known spotted gum, located within a logging coupe in North Brooman State Forest.

This tree is not only an extraordinary specimen of its species, but a living monument to the ecological richness of our native forests and its protection should be beyond question.

The coupe that Big Spotty is in is due to be logged in the near future.

I am aware that Forestry Corp has proposed a 60-metre buffer zone around the tree - however, environmental groups and forest scientists have made it clear that such a buffer is unlikely to be adequate for a tree of this age, height and ecological significance.

That's why I am asking for your help by signing my petition.

I'm calling on the NSW Government to cease logging of the coupe that Big Spotty is located in as a matter of urgency.

Big Spotty deserves lasting protection and together we can make a difference.

Thank you for your support.
